With the new SnapStar hydraulic coupler, Umeta has developed a product that can be called revolutionary in several respects. An innovative sliding system, metal seal, a density of up to 1000 bar and the world's first hydraulic coupler with a vent valve.
Hydraulic coupler without lever
For some years there have been hydraulic couplers on the market that can be secured with a clamp on the grease nipple. Umeta has developed a new sliding system that connects and disconnects completely horizontally without a clamp, making lubrication even easier and avoiding dirty fingers and fat loss. In addition, the SnapStar can be easily installed and disconnected in very tight spaces due to the narrow diameter of 15.5 mm.
First hydraulic coupler with valve for pressure relief
During lubrication a high pressures can be built, which can lead to dangerous situations on the work floor! That is why safety is so important and users and machines must be protected as well as possible. The hydraulic coupler is equipped with a very firm 4-jaw snap lockk and therefore has a tested tightness to 1,000 bar. To prevent dangerous situations, the SnapStar is additionally available with a valve, which simply relieves pressure. Which makes the SnapStar the world's first hydraulic coupler with pressure relief.
Warranty SnapStar
In practice, Leijenaar often sees that after a few months, standard hydraulic coupler are discarded and replaced by the lubricator, partly because of wear of the rubber seal. What makes the brand new SnapStar mouthpiece from Umeta unique is that it is equipped with metal seals instead of the usual rubber seals. This keeps wear to a minimum and extends the lifespan enormously. The SnapStar is therefore the only hydraulic coupler in the world that comes with a 4-year functional warranty.
